How to use

Angle your brush at 45 degrees and brush in short, half-tooth-wide strokes from the gum-line down. Angle up for upper teeth, and down for bottom teeth. Brush chewing surfaces with a back-and-forth motion. Timewise, hum your favourite banger while you brush and keep going till you hit the second verse.

FAQs

  • A biobased toothbrush is made using materials derived partly from renewable, plant-based sources rather than fossil fuels. It offers the same performance as a conventional toothbrush with a reduced environmental impact.

  • The handle is made from Bamboo, while the biobased bristles are high-quality, durable nylon designed for effective cleaning and comfort.

  • The toothbrush is not fully biodegradable, but it significantly reduces reliance on petroleum-based plastics. Using biobased materials helps lower overall carbon impact compared to conventional toothbrushes.

  • Dentists generally recommend replacing your toothbrush every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed, to maintain effective cleaning and good oral hygiene.

  • Yes. The toothbrush features soft bristles, making it gentle on gums and suitable for people with sensitive teeth or gum irritation.

  • Absolutely. The brush head and bristle design are optimised for effective plaque removal and everyday oral hygiene when used with proper brushing technique.

  • Yes. Children can use it under adult supervision, ensuring they brush gently and for the recommended amount of time.

  • Yes. The materials used are vegan-friendly and the toothbrush is produced without animal-derived ingredients or animal testing.

  • Because it’s made from mixed materials, the body should be disposed with the compostable or garden waste, and the heads with general household waste unless local recycling facilities accept biobased plastics, or using our ZTL scheme.

  • Biobased toothbrushes offer a smooth, durable handle that doesn’t splinter or absorb moisture like bamboo can. They’re also lighter, more hygienic over time, and still significantly more sustainable than standard plastic toothbrushes.
